Rob Romero started hunting at the age of 9. He took up archery 15 years ago after his friend Frank Ausorio introduced him to the sport. Rob immediately started practicing every day at Salinas Bowmen and his skills quickly improved. Soon after, Rob decided to start hunting with the bow and arrow exclusively. After five years of shooting with the bow, Rob began to shoot at small local tournaments.
Rob hunting travels have taken him as far away as Arizona, Colorado, Alaska – even Africa! He enjoys the challenge of shooting with the bow and arrow and appreciates how much harder it is and how much closer you get to the game. Rob believes that archery has improved his hunting skills tremendously and hopes that this website will help to encourage other hunters to make the switch to bow hunting!
